 kapsul collection
standings : Épure

After the huge success of our first, colorful lamp collection, we are proud to introduce a new, intimate family: Épure Standings.

Vibrant colors and playful designs are replaced by an understated and pure atmosphere.

The beige tones, natural materials and clean lines fit perfectly into interiors where tranquility and harmony are key.
With this small, exclusive series, we want to celebrate the power of simplicity. Minimalist, timeless & relaxing.

With an eye for detail and craftsmanship two complementary personalities - friends -  sketched their first collection for kapsul completely by hand.

They selected the finest materials to bring the hand drawn objects to live. Every unique piece combines intuitive and Belgian design.

Note, the red thread typifies their designs in a subtle and mysterious way and is a nod to their colorful approach.

Pure craftsmanship forms the base of every single Kapsul piece.

Standing collection: the foot consists of baked clay finished with the chosen glaze. When the shape is formed and imperfections are eliminated by hand, overnight drying is the most important phase in the process.
After baking the foot on 950 degrees, we can dust off all parts and paint the column by hand. The hole in the bottom is a detail that we applied very subtly.

Specific woven fabrics are chosen based on their unique character and texture.

The most important thing was to experience each fabric on its own. Know the way it’s woven, the way it feels and understand the way it has to be processed.

Raw materials such as cotton, linen, wool and silk are listed in the collection.

Besides, the fabrics also tell a playful yet beautiful story that reflects the designers’ way of thinking.

For people who want customisation, a

tailor-made piece can be made where you can choose the colors for the base  and color / type of the fabric.
